WHAT IS HSM?

  • HSM is our High School Ministry where any 9th-12th grade teens can join.

  • HSM ministry meets on Wednesdays for Elevate.

    CONNECT SUNDAYS:
    OCTOBER 5 & 26
    NOVEMBER 9 & 16
    JANUARY 11 & 25
    FEBRUARY 1 & 22
    MARCH 8 & 29

    ~Elevate runs every Wednesday from 6:30PM - 8:00PM (snacks will be provided)

    ELEVATE:
    Every Wednesday, except for:

    December 24 & 31
    February 18
    April 4 & 15

    YEAR 2 RETREAT:
    December 5-7, 2025

    HSM Retreat:
    April 17-19, 2026

  • ~ Connect (Sunday) for High School Youth from all walks of life who want to come reconnect with Jesus and build a community of faith.

    ~ Elevate (Wednesday) is for High School Youth who want to dive deeper into scripture, and participate in small group discussion and mentorship. These nights are for youth who want to deepen their relationship with Christ and their understanding of what it means to be a disciple.

    ~ Along with our regular meetings, we have a yearly weekend Youth Ministry retreat, LA Youth Day, Steubenville Conference and other fun socials that we do! Check our most recent calendar for our most up-to-date events.

  • ABSOLUTELY!! All high school youth are welcome to attend our high school events. Be sure to have parents fill out the waiver before coming or fill out the copy that we will have at our check-in tables

  • ~ We are always looking for adult leaders who can help share their faith with the teens, as well as those that simply want to help with checking teens in and out, serving and/OR prepping food, decorating, taking pictures/videos, setting up, and cleaning up. View our volunteer info below.

FAQs

  • As per the Diocese of Orange, any 9th grade - 11th grade teen can join Confirmation Formation.

    Confirmation is at least a two year process and needs to be completed before the teen graduates high school.

    If the teen does not have his/her Baptism or First Eucharist, please let us know and we can walk with you through that process.

  • Our first year  and second years of Confirmation is integrated into Connect Sundays at THE TEN. There will also be other opportunities to meet on our Wednesday Elevate nights, First Friday Adorations, and Parish Faith days. During their first year of Confirmation, teens will also be asked to join our yearly Youth Ministry retreat weekend in the Spring. 

    During their second year of Confirmation, there will also be a dedicated second year Confirmation retreat in the Fall

    ~ Connect typically runs from 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on select Sundays. Following THE TEN, youth can eat with their families and then meet with other teens when the bell rings.

  • During our first year of Confirmation, it is our hope that teens will be able to integrate faith and community. It is during this first year we will really establish the importance of having a relationship with God in whom we receive the Gifts of the Holy Spirit from. This will be done through games, worship, food, and prayer.

    Our second year will shift to a more intimate setting where teens will be assigned to a dedicated small group to dive deeper into catechesis and learn more about what it means to be Confirmed in the Church. Jesus had a small group of followers that prayed together, laughed together, and lived life together. It is in this model that we hope bonds are strengthened and discipleship is formed.

  • Click register on our webpage. Afterwards a follow up email will be sent with information on setting up a meet up with our Youth Minister. We will be meeting with each teen and at least parent to get to know one another better and talk about Confirmation
