Little iApps Releases the eVotions series on iTunes. The Launch includes a free JP II app!
South Bend, IN— Scott Hahn, Archbishop Chaput, and Lisa Hendey are among the list of contributors to a new series of apps from the developers of Confession: A Roman Catholic App. Three short months after the release of their worldwide bestseller, Little i Apps, LLC announces the launch of eVotions -- a series of digital devotions for modern Catholics.

The series makes its debut on the iTunes App Store with the release of three new apps including, St. Joseph, St. Gianna, and Bl. John Paul II. Designed for tech savvy Catholics, these prayer apps are packed with image galleries, streaming videos, and push notifications for praying novenas. The apps also feature common prayers, introductions by well known Catholics, and writings on the tradition and history of each saint and blessed.

Patrick Leinen, developer and co-founder of Little i Apps, LLC, said, “Digital ministry is exploding all around us. Catholics can be a part of this evolution without sacrificing the beautiful traditions that have kept our faith alive for centuries. eVotions will not replace the practice of devotions; the series will enhance it!”

Well timed with the beatification of Pope John Paul II, Little i Apps, LLC is delighted to offer Bl. John Paul II as a free download. “All the members of our team grew up in the JP II generation. His extraordinary witness of faith impacted us greatly. It is for this reason that we wanted to create something in honor of his beatification! New Features...

Did you know we now have a Prayer Request section of our website?   You can visit the page by going to www.scdayl.org/go/prayer-request

You may select to have your prayer request sent directly to Father Mike or you may select that your prayer request be posted on our Prayer Wall for other registered members to read.

This is a great way to have many people praying for your special request!  You may also post an update to your request and that will be reflected on the wall as well!

Email Lists and RSS Feed

Did you know you can now choose what emails you receive from SCDA?  We have a variety of lists including the General Emails, Youth Ministry, Adult Faith Formation, Childrens Faith Formation and many more.  Go to members and Email Lists to choose the lists you wish to subscribe to.

We also now have an active RSS feed!  You can get info on all the latest updates to the website events and announcments simply by clicking on the RSS feed icon and adding it to your feed reader.  Info will can then be added to the feed reader on your phone or computer for immediate access.  If you would like additional info on feed readers, just send an email to webmaster@scdayl.org and we'll help you out.

Becoming a SCDAweb Member

We would love to have you access our new website features!  SCDAweb Membership is open to all registered Santa Clara de Asis Parishioners.  If you are not yet a parishioner, you may register as a parishioner.  Once registered, you will receive an email inviting you to join the SCDA web Community.

To become a SCDAweb Member, please complete the become a member form.  The only required information is your name and email.  You may fill in additional information such as address, phone, birthday, bio, interests.  These additional fields are not required.  Once your form is complete and you click on Submit, your form will be sent to the SCDA webmaster for approval.  The form is reviewed with the Parish Secretary to confirm that you are a Registered Parishioner.  After approval, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been approved.

You also are able to select what information you make public to other SCDAweb members.  You may select which of the following information you make available to all SCDAweb members such as the following:

• Address
• Phone
• Email
• Profile
• Member listed in Web Directory

• Blogs
• View the Prayer Request Wall
• Send evites to Mass and Parish events to outside Friends or Family
• View the Web Directory
• View Photo Galleries
• Feature your Business in our Business Directory ($10/per month - 6month or 12month contract options)
• Feature items or requests in our Classified Directory (items subject to approval)
